  1. Just the weather for it – biting things aside that is – were the flies/midges bad? I’m wanting to go camping in my car soon but I literally get bitten by absolutely everything going. I got 2 ticks yesterday after a gill scramble ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Who’s the excellently-named Daniel Clout by the way? ๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. We didn’t have any trouble with midges or anything to be honest, but Geoff and Dale had a bit of midgey trouble one night last week on their Yorkshire cycling tour…
      Yuk to the ticks…
Daniel Clout is a friend who lives near us who’s a big camper, but unless you’re on Facebook you probably wouldn’t come across him!

  3. Hi Chrissie, Glad you had a good backpack and enjoyed it.
I’m looking forward to your next photos.
Oh, BTW, you’ve a little way to go to reach Dale’s standard, which is something like, “We walked, we camped and we ate….”
Seriously, glad it went well and you enjoyed it.
