Cath And Rich Meet The Hanging Tree…

Actually, the last time I was there I made friends with The Tree, and this spot is now rapidly becoming one of our favourite Quick Sleepovers.

Of course that doesn’t mean that the spooky stuff never happened, I’m just seeing it in a different light. The history of this ruined farm, half way up Kinder with it’s own little stream, totally fascinates me. I’ve found next to nothing about it on google, save for a reference to it being sold, back in the 1500s. I just love a bit of real, social history.

So, when a get together with Cath and Rich was planned for last weekend, and a request was put in for a quick wild camp, it was an easy decision to suggest this place.
