Winter Boots And Microspikes

We should have had our snowshoes with us as well.

A winter jaunt around Dimpus Gate, South Head, Mount Famine and Elle Bank Woods.

Dixie would have loved it ๐Ÿ™‚

    That looked rather lovely.
We have had NO snow at all.
Even the forecast of snow yielded torrential rain.
Nice sunny day today and hopefully tomorrow though.

    • I can’t believe you’ve had no snow, I thought it was pretty much everywhere! I expect much of it will have gone by Wednesday or Thursday though, when it starts to warm up again.

    Wonderful winter jaunt that.

  4. Is that Derbyshire? That’s a serious amount of snow – we haven’t had any yet ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

  5. Hurray !!!! Winter’s here at last!
We had a big(ish) dump of snow on Boxing Day, but it’s gone were we live (too near the coast) I think there’s still quite a bit in the Clwydian Hills and in Snowdonia, so must get out this week!

    Great pics BTW!

    • Thanks – I sometimes think my mobile takes better photos than my camera!
Still got loads of snow (and freezing fog!) today, but it’s all gonna start warming up again tomorrow…

A fine outing. Brings back some memories we used to walk the Peak district when we lived in Lichfield. We were once surrounded and hassled by hungry sheep, believe it or not, on Mount Famine!

    Gorgeous snow photos.

    Happy New Year 2015!

Beautiful posting Chrissie. There hasn’t been any snow yet here in southeastern Pennsylvania but I’m sure it will come eventually. Have a healthy, blessed, abundant and very Happy 2015!

Stunning photos, looks the Peak had a big dump of snow. We had none down here in the Deep South. I had to go to Snowdonia to find some!
