Winter Boots And Microspikes

We should have had our snowshoes with us as well.

A winter jaunt around Dimpus Gate, South Head, Mount Famine and Elle Bank Woods.

  1. Hurray !!!! Winter’s here at last!
We had a big(ish) dump of snow on Boxing Day, but it’s gone were we live (too near the coast) I think there’s still quite a bit in the Clwydian Hills and in Snowdonia, so must get out this week!

    Great pics BTW!

  2. A fine outing. Brings back some memories we used to walk the Peak district when we lived in Lichfield. We were once surrounded and hassled by hungry sheep, believe it or not, on Mount Famine!

  3. Beautiful posting Chrissie. There hasn’t been any snow yet here in southeastern Pennsylvania but I’m sure it will come eventually. Have a healthy, blessed, abundant and very Happy 2015!
